Good news, I guess...
I have a car. yesterday, I purchased a brand spankin' used Grand Am. Of course, the only color of car that seems to be availble for me to buy is red. I would have rather had the green Grand Am I was looking at last week. But, it was sold about 2 hours before I was able to get it.
Anyway, I have transportation again. Go, me.

The life of me...
Well, its been over a month...actually two months..and I don't really have anything exciting to report.
Unless you want to count the car accident that I was in about a month ago. I takes a real man of genius to think that backing up down an on-ramp is ok. No, that wasn't me. That was the guy who caused the accident. Who, I might add, wasn't even touched.
I hate having to bum a ride to work, and I can't really afford a car at the moment.
Oh well, there ya have it. Another boring installment in the life of me.

Hmmm...
What to say...
Well, I spent this Christmas in Oklahoma with my brother, my mom and the niece I haven't seen since she was about a year old. Fifteen years can sure make a difference.
I'd have to say that the trip as a whole was pretty good, despite the fact that a 20 oz. bottle of soda costs $3 at the LA airport and the flights were delayed some.

What will I be on Halloween?
I seem to have had my choice of a "costume" picked or me this Halloween. Since I hav to work that day, I guess I'll just be dressed as a Security Guard for Halloween. Not that I'll be attending any parties or other functions that day. I'll just go to work, then come home and attempt to ignore all the kiddies running around the neighborhood ringing doorbells and making the dog bark like crazy. One of these years, I'm going to get a hockey mask and dress up like my namesake from Friday the 13th. |

A work in progress
Well, I finally broke down and got an account here. This place seems to be more coding friendly than some other places I've seen. Maybe now I can put my limited creativity and HTML knowledge to good use.
As work permits, I will be updating the page with something better than the default setting....hopefully.
