This weekend I saw the movie "Night At The Museum" starring Ben Stiller, Mickey Rooney, Dick Van Dyk, and a crew of colorful actors.  This is about a nobody named Larry Daly who gets fired from his job and ends up getting a job as a night watchman for the New York Museum of Natural History.  While at the job, Larry finds out that everthing is not what they are seems to be in this place and that everything comes alive literally at night.  He than get into predicuments and eventually problems while he is on duty, in which he learns to solve on his own thanks to the help of the alive Teddy Rosevelt (Robin Williams).  This movie is adventurous and hair raising as the exhibits comes out to play, talk, and act in teir own natural ways.  I recommend you to see it.  I love to hear about your take on this, please reply...  Thank you...

  This weekend I went to my nearest theater to see the Clint Eastwood film, "Letters From Iwo Jima".  Eastwood, like in his last film "Flags Of Our Fathers", again makes us emotional when it comes to dramatic war events.  In his last film, the view of the war on a small island of Iwo Jima was from the American point.  We got to see the Marines raise the flags on Mount Saribachi in order to inspire the others whom are fighting the war. 

  In "Letters From Iwo Jima", Eastwood again takes us on this journey of drama and war but only to switch sides in order for us to feel for the soldiers.  The pain and suffering they endured while fighting the American Marines has staggered to a point where death of one will make you cry.  The Japanese army somehow pulls through to fight the more aggressive and well trained Marines of the United States although they knew that they could not win.  Fighting on with pride and courage ultamately dieing for the Emperor of the empire.  This film takes you on a roller coaster ride of emotions and sense of pride in which you will never forget.  The movie is spoken in Japanese with English subtitles in most areas of the world.  Only a few handful of scenes are spoken in English (when they captured an American is one of them).  Again, I have to tell you that it is a roller coaster ride of emotions that will take your breath away.  You will feel for these soldiers in every event they encountered.  I recommend you to go see it.  Starring:  Ken Watenabe, Shidou Nakamura, Kouji Wada, and a handful of colorful and talented cast in:  "Letters From Iwo Jima".

  I just say the movie"Eragon" and some of you have reviews of your own about it.  To tell you the truth is that I am really in the middle of all of this and that the movie was wasn't what I thought it would be.  For starters, Jeremy Irons was great at his role as the ex-rider who's dragon got killed.  His portrayal of a sadened, heart broken soldier was great.  The other guy (the Mark Hammel look alike) wasn't as great as I thought because his charector was too cocky.  He gets into alot of troubles which helps him out of jams.  The movie has a dragon in it, but not as scary as thought.  There are alot of action, fight scenes, and chasing but it will lead to more bordem.  Out of ten for movies being ten the best, I give it a seven.  Though I thought the chase scenes were abit boring and fictacious.  The kids sitting in front of me seemed to like it, that boosted my rating up a notch.  If there are any diagreements about what I have just said, please feel free to respond to this blog.  I am in to reading comments, complaints, suggestions, etc. about my blogs so please feel free to express your intentions about my blogs.  My policy stands, no swearing or foul language aloyed.  ---THANK YOU AND HAVE A HAPPY NEW YEARS!!!---
