Greetings.  Today, a new pope has been elected; German Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger was chirstened "Pope Benedict XVI" today.  Ratzinger, a devout conservative, was a former member of the Hitler Youth, a Nazi last-reserve military force.  These are dark tidings.  May God have mercy on us all.

Today, roughly an hour-and-a-half ago, Pope John Paul II died at the age of 84 in his apartment at the Vatican. I personally did not like the Pope, but he too, was a human being like any of the rest of us. Out of respect for my fellow man, without joy or sadness at the event, I say amen, let him be. May he rest in peace.

I don't know why I write this if none of you read it.  You know, it doesn't matter.  In 10 years, a heroin overdose will bring me down, or bypass surgery when I'm 40.  And for those of you who may read this are wondering, no I don't do heroin or any drug.  The future just looks mighty bleak.

I'm not saying I wanna die, I'm just saying I've peaked in life and shit happens.  But you know, I find something in my day almost everyday that makes me smile.  Life could be better, life could be worse.  Doesn't matter.  Nothing really does very much.

In the end, we die, thanks for playing, game over.  That's it.  Then comes the judgement on judgement day, but for many people that varies by perspective.

But you know, life is good.  As bleak as the future may be, and as crappy as the present is, don't take for granted the good you have now.  You'll regret it later.  Trust me :)

As bad as things are, they could be worse, and I'm grateful for what I've got.  Thank God.  I really do like my life.

Greetings in the name of the most high, JAH God, everliving.  I am here now to announce this children: Today, February 6th, is the Honor Rebel Bob Marley's 60th birthday!  He has been reburied in Ethiopia in accordance with his wish to someday live in this Rastafarian holy land.  As of today, there will be an enourmous concert, also in Ethiopia, in his honor as part of the month-long celebration taking place with performances by the likes of his sons, his wife, his mother, and several others.  Jah bless and 'nuff respect to Robert Nesta Marley, O.M, Bob Marley on his 60th birthday.  Peace and love.

These last few days have been weird...it's like I have to start again...my Dad went in for heart surgery today to get a heart valve replaced.  The operation went well, so I'm really glad for that...I know my Dad can survive anything if he can beat that...well done, Dad...I love you...

On top of that...let's just say...I lost something very valuable to me to a competator...she's gone...

So, where does this all put me...?  I'm at the Crossroads again, just like I was five and-a-half years ago in June of 1999.  I'd moved into a new house (the house I'm in now,) come out of a deep depression, and started to heal from my friend's death nearly six months before and...I had a Playstation with Final Fantasy VII ^_^  Those were good times...

Then the whole thing kinda repeated itself in the Spring of 2000 and I had a relapse...eh....  By August of that year I came out of it again and things have mostly been alright since....

Now, my depression isn't really the problem, but with the way things are, having lost my Angel, and my Dad having undergone a serious operation with me nearly an adult, I'm stuck at the crossroads again with different paths to take...I'm just not sure which one to choose...
